Firematic Training

Occustar provides firematic training developed for volunteer and career fire departments. The OSHA/PESH-mandated 8-Hour Firefighter Refresher forms the core of our program, covering hazard recognition, PPE, SCBA use, station operations, response procedures, tool safety, workplace violence, sexual harassment, and current compliance updates.

Training is led by instructors with real fire-service experience and is available onsite or through scheduled statewide sessions for members unable to attend their department’s scheduled date. Programs can be delivered in a single day or across two evenings.

Additional training options include CPR/AED, First Aid, and custom safety programs tailored to department needs.

Training documentation is formatted for OSHA/PESH recordkeeping and long-term retention expectations. Departments receiving group training can opt for organized binder formats that keep all records in a single, easy-to-access location.

Occustar’s firematic training strengthens readiness, supports compliance, and reinforces safe operational practices across all fire service roles.
