Occustar provides onsite safety training aligned with OSHA, PESH, and New York State requirements. Training is delivered by experienced instructors familiar with real-world operational demands and compliance expectations.
Our core program is the 8-Hour Firefighter OSHA Refresher, covering the ten mandated annual topics including hazard recognition, station safety, response safety, fire science, PPE, SCBA, tool safety, workplace violence, sexual harassment, and current operational developments. Training can be delivered as a single day or in two sessions, with statewide sessions available for members who miss their departmental date.
We also offer CPR/AED and First Aid training through AHA and HSI programs. These courses provide practical emergency skills suitable for fire, municipal, and industrial personnel.
Safety training delivered through Occustar also supports New York State harassment and bullying prevention requirements, which must be completed annually.
Documentation is structured for OSHA/PESH compliance and long-term retention. Group training records can be compiled into organized binders for clarity and easy future reference.
